When the results of "The Voice" were revealed this week, Sylvia Yacoub and Bryan Keith found themselves leaving the competition.
Before host Carson Daly revealed they'd be going home, Sylvia was at a lost for words, nervously laughing, while Bryan told the crowd, "No matter what happens, I just want to say thanks. I love you guys. Keep rockin'!"
The Top 8 of "The Voice's" third season are: Team Cee Lo's Nicholas David, Cody Belew and Trevin Hunte, Team Blake's Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott, Team Christina's Dez Duron and Team Adam's Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown. They'll all perform next week.
Though the iTunes chart did dictate who went home last week on "The Voice" (Michaela Paige and Adriana Louise), it did not reflect the results this week. Trevin and Cody were at the bottom of the chart, but will continue, keeping Team Cee Lo in the lead with three of his contestants still in the competition.
On a lighter note, in a confessional package that aired earlier in the show, the audience learned that Trevin can beat box, Blake Shelton outed Adam Levine for wearing $600 T-shirts, Dez once had cornrows and Terry McDermott does a mean Danny Zucko impression (as did Cody on Monday night).
Christina Aguilera and her team -- Dez Duron and Sylvia Yacoub -- kicked off Tuesday's installment of "The Voice" with an energetic performance of Aguilera's new track "Let There Be Love," complete with studs, leopard print and a new color of bang trim for Christina. Adam Levine also performed with his team: Amanda Brown, Melanie Martinez and Bryan Keith. The foursome took on "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" with Adam jamming out on the guitar.
Team Blake and Team Christina performed together towards the end of the evening, singing "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and Rascal Flatts also took the stage on Tuesday night, performing "Change" with Cassadee and Cody.
Watch the Top 8 next week on "The Voice," Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
